The Scoundrels provide an excellent and helpful friendly service when deciding upon the entertainment for your wedding reception or event.

If you wish to enquire about booking the band,we have listed some FAQ'S below.

Frequently asked questions

1. How long does the band play for?

The band plays a two hour programme, this can be straight through or two separate sets to include a break, we can play for an extra 10/15 minutes if required at no extra cost.

We will also provide background music during any breaks in our evening performance.

2. Do you provide a DJ or Disco service?

If you require a DJ to perform after the band has finished playing, we can help you set up a complete entertainment package very easily. Kieran Rice is a pro DJ and he will have you dancing after we have finished playing..

Please note our DJ/Band package is a very convenient way to set up all of your evening's entertainment under one roof!

3. Where can we see the band perform?

We will provide upon request an emailed list of our upcoming dates so that you can arrange to see and hear the band in action.

We encourage this as it gives the most accurate and helpful way to hear us perform all the songs in our set at an actual live performance,this also provides peace of mind for anyone wishing to book the band.

4. How far will the band travel to play at a wedding reception?

The Scoundrels play both Northern and Southern Ireland.

5.How long does it take to set up the equipment?

Usually the band will arrive at a venue 90 minutes beforehand to start setting up,this is adequate time to assemble our gear and soundcheck

It is advisable to check with your venue if they need time to prepare a playing or stage area beforehand, as venues will differ with access etc. .

6. Can we request songs for the band to play? And do you cater for some of the guests who may wish to jive and waltz?

Any music that it is not on our playlist can be provided in MP3 format and played through our sound system.....Also you can select tracks from our playlist to be played or left out as the case may be.

The Scoundrels will play a short set of songs to jive and waltz to if required...usually when discussing each seperate booking we will go through the music selection with you and make sure we include all the requested songs for each wedding..

7. What is the fee I can expect to pay for The Scoundrels?

We will send you a competitive price upon request.

Please note as a four piece unit with no agent's booking fees to pay out.. we are able to offer our customers very competitive rates which we feel are excellent value for money ...you can be assured that we will do our very best to accomodate and give you the best deal we can..

8. Are you able to reserve or hold the date for us until we have had a chance to see you perform?

Yes indeed, when an enquiry is made for the band's availability, we set up a viewing date for you. If you are unable to attend a viewing for any considerable period of time, we will make a note to hold the date in the calendar until you have had a chance to see and hear us play.

9. We would like to book the band, what happens next?

Upon booking the band you will receive a confirmation form, with all the detailed information relating to the event and we will contact you shortly before by telephone to make sure all the times and finer details are all in place beforehand.
